  8. Make a short in less than 48 hours
  9. Complete the Online Wrap-Up
  10. Hand in your short at the Finish Line and you're done!

Writing for screen: What gets a script noticed and read by potential decision-makers and funders? Discover what script basics will mark you as a "professional" and what sure-fire signs will turn off a reader before they even get into your script.
When : 12 and 13 July 2010 (3 hours per day - hours TBC)
Complete theFilm-making Workshop Application Form to apply.

Art direction : Explore basic design considerations for visual storytelling, consistency versus occasional quality in visual storytelling, and art dept continuity. Try your hand at dust explosions; blood oozing, squirting, and splattering; smoke and as many other tricks as can be squeezed in.
When : 12 and 13 July 2010 (3 hours per day - hours TBC)
Complete the Film-making Workshop Application Form to apply.

Cinematography : Learn some fundamental visual storytelling tools such as the use of framing, composition, proxemics, light and shadow, camera movement. Pick up some tips and tricks for camera operating, focus pulling and lighting on a budget.
When : 17 and 19 August 2010 (3 hours per day - hours TBC)
