Bus of the Undead: much respect! We loved your sex-ed short last year and were really gutted it wasn't in the running.

Thanks for those reviews coming in guys, us out of towners don't get the chance (petrol wise lol) to get to see any other heats so it's nice to hear what the standard is like this year and which way other teams have tackled things..
By the sounds of it there's been a good step up on last year which is good to hear..
A few days ago I was worried ours wouldn't play, now I'm worried it will...lol..

I'll keep trying to add reviews - I'm having a tough time as I seem to try and do it when the servier is being bombarded.
I got partway through the first heat and now I'm just getting server errors.
Also: Thanks caketaker! Your short was cool and I saw great improvements on last year (and I'm not just talking about your sound being in synch). Glad you guys got recongition for it!

Very stoaked to get 1st in the heat, theres been some great films this year so far. I've particularly enjoyed Guys & Dollys', Bus of the Undead's, Linemen's and Rabies Babies' entries..

Back from heats 4 and 5. The Gardener was absolutely fantastic and is in my top two for this year. Bloody well done.
And of course we got to see Rabies Babies film again with the Out of Towners which was great - the other of my top two.
in reply to treefrog:
The Happy Little Peas - Guys I think that we all worked really well together as a team and I want to thank you guy so much for all your efforts and stuff n stuff. :)
I'm gonna try and do some reviews for Heats 4 & 5 (although missed start of heat 4 as just arrived in town after long drive from Wanaka).
Problem is, I didn't manage to take any notes , so a quick synopsis of your film would help if possible please.
TreeFrog, just wanted to say, nice room for projection. Looked great. I'd be happy if the Finals were at same venue also. Good work.
Why change in audience voting procedure though? - worked fine in previous years,no? - I noticed that people were putting all points in one box or weren't sure what bulls eye was for or weren't clear if 1's meant first preference or 1 of 3 points etc.
Just seemed unnecessarily unclear.
Bring back voting forms of yesteryear please.
