Hi – I'm keen to join a team for next w/e – if you, or others you know, have any last min places.

I did do a v48hrs a few years ago (on sound) but I'd be happy to assist in whatever function.

Have a Canon 7D with mini Sennheiser 400 mic and various prime Takumar lens from 17-500mm, to contribute if u need a second camera.

Keen to just join and help on location or in post.

I am looking for a General Cast and Crew, not sure how many of last years team will be returning.
I would like people who are enthusiastic and professional, I like to have a relaxed attitude to the process but essentially I try to shoot saturday and only saturday friday is for story and saturday night through to sunday morning is for post production.
Anyone who is good at securing good shoot locations and a composer would be a plus too.

Dear 48Hoursland,

I'm one of the few in New Zealand who wants to get Musical as their genre every year. Unfortunately, no team is guaranteed to get it... well, it may not even be in the list of genres, for all we know.

But anyway:
– I'm a Dunedin-based composer/songwriter/lyricist.
– I've done music for improv theatre for 12 years, write comedy songs, and run a gig called Song Sale.
– Last year my adopted team won Best Song in Wellington. The year before, my adopted team's Musical got into the Wellington finals. (See my sig below.)
– I want to do Musical this year too.

I'm based in Dunedin, but I'll be part of anything Christchurch or southwards. If you want me on call, ask for my mobile & email. I'll be ready and waiting at 7pm.

Looking for Gaffer/LX and Sound Recordist

Hi, we are a third year Unitec team short of a few roles. We have lights and sound mixers/recorders at our disposal, we just need crew to work them.

We would love to acquire a Gaffer to make our picture beautiful. If you love lighting then come light for us :)

We are shooting with the Canon 60D DSLR and would like to record double system to get better sound than what is provided in camera. Our mixer is the Wendt x3 and the recorder is Sound Devices 744t or Sony PCM-10 hand recorder. There is also space for an extra boom op to make the sound recorder's life easier ^^. If you have experience recording double system, please contact me through text or email. This is non-paid work for experience/fun and you will be fed.

Hey guys, I'm a musician/composer based in Christchurch looking to join a team for the 48hours challenge. I'm 26 with a diploma in jazz, a bachelor degree in music and I have experience in writing music for video, including previous 48hours :) I also have my own small studio set up at home with all the gear for sound recording, plus access to other audio equipment if required. Also, since I'm looking to write the music, I obviously don't necessarily need to be in the same city as your team as long as you have a fast internet connection and you're willing to pass video back and forth that way.

The Bachelor of Digital Media students (Y1) at Southern Institute of Technology are looking for actors for their films this year, including but not limited to, V48Hour!! We will be holding open auditions soon, so if you are in Invercargill, it would be awesome to hear from you so get in touch!

For the auditions we would like you to perform a 2 – 3 minute dialogue scene from a movie you enjoy, and you may be asked to perform or read through a couple of sides from a scene that we select.

The auditions are on:
Tuesday, 15th May 12 – 3pm
Wednesday, 16th May 12 – 3pm and 5.30 – 7.30pm
Venue: Upstage theatre, Level One, SIT Downtown Campus, Don St beside the big umbrella

Hi,

I'm a fiction writer, of short stories, poetry, stage and screenplays. I'm not published yet, but feel I could bring a lot to a team in Wellington. I've made a couple of short films myself and as a software developer of some 20+ years I've always played nicely in a team environment.

My stories are always dark and twisted and my favourite film director is David Lynch, so...

I'd be happy to interview with any prospective team looking for someone like me.

hi i love film making and i am looking for some experince if theres any teams that are looking for some help in anything camera crew, boom operator, editor(a little experince),moving gear around and making coffee. I have a another friend who want to help out to. I am based in wellington and my dad runs a big hotel and mabye happy to help out with some sponsorship.
